Under the direction of Darin Drown, Sound of the Rockies has been creating captivating, exciting a cappella music since 2000. The 100-plus voice men's competition and world-class show chorus is a five-time repeat medalist in the Barbershop Harmony Society's annual chorus competition and performs for appreciative audiences throughout the greater Denver, Colorado area. Recently the premier quartet from Sound of the Rockies, Storm Front, placed 1st at the 2010 International Quartet Contest in Philadelphia, PA!

A championship decade! After a strong finish 3rd place tie with one of the best choruses in the world, The Toronto Northern Lights in July's International competition, Sound of the Rockies has done it again! A finish of 10 straight 1st place finishes in the Rocky Mountain district competition! We were also well represented on stage by 7 competing quartets, with our own The Crew finishing in first place and taking the district crown against the best quartets in the region. |
